See what kindness can do
Island Kindness is about everyday people making a difference. We’re a grassroots movement connecting the generosity of Newcastle, Australia, with children and families in Bali who need a helping hand.
What began as small acts of kindness — has grown into a community-driven initiative helping kids learn, families recover from hardship, and neighbourhoods rebuild after tragedy.
We believe kindness is contagious. One gesture creates a ripple, and together those ripples change lives.

Who We Are
Island Kindness is a privately funded, volunteer-driven project born out of friendship between two communities: Newcastle and Bali. With a small team on the ground in Bali, we respond directly to the needs of children and families facing hardship.
Unlike large organisations with layers of overhead, every contribution goes straight to where it’s needed most. No middlemen. No bureaucracy. Just people helping people.
What We Do
Providing resources so children can learn English and digital skills
Delivering food, clothing, and emotional support when disasters strike
Working with local leaders to identify urgent needs and respond quickly
Every donation and act of support goes directly to families
Our Impact
Every shoe delivered, every meal shared, every smile in an English class tells a story of resilience and hope.
Dozens of children are now learning English.
Families affected by tragedy have received food parcels, safe shelter, and emotional care.
Communities have rebuilt homes and schools after devastating events.
It’s not about numbers.
It’s about people.
And behind every story is a simple act of kindness.
